This page is a WIP!![]() Formatting may change wildly and information may not be completely accurate. Currently this page will cover any semi-removed content. This includes anything not typically accessible in vanilla. Fully removed content will be added at a later date. |
Seasonal Content
Some content is only accessible on certain days of the year, so it will be counted as being 'semi-removed' for the sake of this guide. This content can be accessed at any day of the year by changing the system's date to match that of the event. The content will remain present for the duration of the game session, so long as the game is launched with the correct date.
As of the 2023 beta forwards, Halloween and Christmas will run for the week of the event rather than just the specific date.

April 1st |
Vlambeer has added two April Fool updates. The first of these was a FPS mode announced in 2014 as update 20. This is no longer accessible normally, however this was recreated into a full NTT mod. The second April Fools update was in April 2015 inbetween update 67 and 68. This was likely a secret update (no official announcement) and added Big Dog as a playable character. Playable Big Dog was re-added as a seasonal feature for April Fools on the 2020 openbeta. He can be played on any of the 2021/2023 Steam betas, NTT v100 and Xbox. This includes the modern version of playable Big Dog, which is slightly different than the 2015 version. A full explanation of his modern mechanics can be found on his character page. Big Dog is simply unlocked by defeating his boss variation on preloop. He cannot be played on dailies and is restricted from being played on weeklies, though was enabled once temporarily as a joke. For NTT usage: Can be accessed at any time by using the command '/gml race_set_active(13,1)'. |

Halloween |
October 31st |
Halloween will cause each level to start out with a wolf howl. Smoke effects that are seen in Sewers will now be an effect for every area. The only gameplay change is the inclusion of Halloween Bandits who spawn in addition to normal Bandits. They're exactly the same mechanically, just with a different appearance. |
Christmas |
December 25th |
Christmas will add the snow effect normally seen in the Frozen City applied over every area. There is no Yeti![]() The Yeti has an extremely rare chance of spawning only during the Christmas season, making it very obscure. Any time a Frozen City level is entered there is a 1 in 1,000 chance an enemy will be replaced with the Yeti. The only time the Yeti can be seen is if it decides to burrow out of the ground, which will do so if it feels 'safe'. Safety conditions includes if the player is not close to its burrow, nor their on-screen cursor. It also needs to not be within the player's line of sight, though it will spawn on-screen. The Yeti cannot be harmed nor harm the player and it will re-burrow as quickly as it appears. |
Weapons
Some weapons have been removed from the drop pool and were never re-added, meaning they are not seen in normal gameplay. These still exist in the game meaning they can be accessed in some ways, most commonly during weekly challenges that have custom starting loadouts.
On NTT any removed weapons can be used using the '/cwep' or '/bwep' commands with their names, which will start a run using them.
For the sake of having them all in one place, non-removed NTT weapons are also in this section.
Weapon | Ammo Type | Versions | Description |
Party Gun ![]() |
Explosive | Added: Update 46 |
Temporarily added to celebrate Throne's first anniversary of its initial early access release. A very weak weapon that does 4 damage to enemies. It has poor accuracy and will leave a trail of confetti behind for visual effect. Killing an enemy with the Party Gun will cause it to explode into confetti as a celebratory noise is played. Despite being an explosive weapon type it does not use any ammo type, nor can cause harm to the player. In other words this only effects ammo pickup rates. |

Ion Cannon ![]() |
Energy | Added: Update 10 |
Removed with the patch notes "You will not be missed." Shooting the Ion Cannon will cause a laser beam to shoot into the air for visual effect then cause an air-strike of plasma explosions onto the location of the player cursor. This will rain down 10 plasma explosions in a quick burst that can be somewhat aimed. Each projectile does 10 damage each hurt animation while respecting enemy iframes, doing up to 20 damage per plasma explosion. This weapon is automatic so it can be held down to continually create airstrikes. It costs 6 energy ammo to fire, and can be fired from behind walls. Laser Brain will NOT give the Ion Cannon any extra damage. Typically this projectile is used with the Devastator which makes an invisible projectile move slower (causing more plasma explosions), though this does not work here due to the nature of Ion Cannon. |

|||
Sentry Gun ![]() |
Bullet | Added: Update 3 |
Removed with the patch notes "Disabled the Sentry Gun for now, we're sorry, but it's terrible." Shooting the Sentry Gun will fire a sentry that remains stationary. It will fire at any enemy that is within line of sight, even if the player hides behind a wall. It costs 24 bullets in order to fire and will use each of those 24 bullets to fire, each projectile doing 3 damage. After it exhausts all ammo the sentry will vanish. Sentries can be damaged by enemies and actually experiences knockback. Each sentry has 10 HP and can be destroyed before consuming its ammo, though enemies will only ever target the player. Sentries will also take damage from enemy corpse knockback, which usually only damages other enemies. Despite being a bullet weapon Recycle Gland will NOT work with the Sentry Gun. Sentry Guns will not target props but can damage them. This means that they cannot be used to initiate the Throne or Captain fights. If the player is running only Sentry Gun it's possible to softlock in these areas if there is no other way to damage, such as Crown of Love removing weapon chests. |

Eggplant ![]() |
None | Added: Update 99 | Eggplant is a placeholder weapon that is meant to be used for debugging. As the weapon exists in the base game this means it can be used for weeklies, which has been seen in loadouts starting around mid-2024. The Eggplant cannot be fired and thus is unusable, and does not have any secret function. The only characters who can interact with it is Chicken throwing it or Robot eating it, functioning like any other weapon in these cases. |
Error ![]() |
None | N/A | Not spawnable in NTT normally, but will appear if attempting to spawn any weapon ID above 127. Similar to Eggplant it does not have any function if used in game, though this does not have a weapon HUD sprite and if held it will display nothing at all. |
