Death Causes

Page Contents

The 'Killed By' section on the game over screen will display whatever caused the lethal hit to the player. There are 106 different death sources in the game, although only 102 of them can be obtained in a normal run. (Only 101 will appear on the game over screen, Crown Guardians will appear as normal Guardians which is a bug.)

Death causes with red backgrounds cannot kill the player in vanilla. Unused death hazards are located at the very end of the page.

The names used on this page is what appears when hovering over them in NTT. The 'ID' is where they appear in the lang file for editing, this can be ignored by most.

The table includes all death sprites as they are seen in-game and an explanation on how they will appear on the death screen.
