Drop mechanics in Nuclear Throne follow a simple system where each portal entered adds new weapons to the pool, and every weapon currently within the weapon pool has an equal chance of dropping. Weapons currently held will be removed from the drop pool, with the exception of Steroids who always sees the full weapon pool for his dual wielding ability.
